The 11’9” BTI is the most versatile yurt available today. It is lightweight, compact and can be set up in most places without the need for a building inspection. Its uses include children’s playhouse, office, extra bedroom, yoga meditation space, ice fishing hut, or a portable home for any climate. With its low cost and ease of set up, it is great as an add on to a larger yurt or other space. This is our most popular yurt in urban areas where the building inspection process is most likely.

This yurt was our first to build and has become a favorite space for one person to set up a complete living situation. The Nest size keeps all the yurt parts shorter than 8’ long and allows it to be easily transported in the back of a pickup truck. In fact with careful packing, 4 yurts of this size can be transported in the back of an 8’ truck bed.

Our 15’ yurt is our best selling yurt due to the fact that it is truly suited for transport or semi-permanent set up. With its ease of set up, and enough space to accommodate most all of a single persons needs, “The Nest” is the perfect home for the nomad at heart. This size is also the best choice for the backyard garden. We offer a clear vinyl cover that will transform this yurt into a cold frame greenhouse in late winter or a year round covered hot tub space with view of the moon and stars.

The 18’ “studio” yurt is sized to meet the needs of two people. It has enough room to comfortably fit in a bath tub, kitchenette, sleep space, office and living room space. It is the perfect space for couples that are looking to live more lightly on the land or just trying to find a way to afford owning a space together. We also recommend this size to small families that are on a tight budget and might possibly be moving around a bit before settling down. This size is also a perfect size for a remote hunting lodge for a small group of sportsmen, provided there is easy access with a truck or four wheeler.

The 18’ yurt studio has become the standard for year round partner living space for people on a budget or prone to frequent relocating. This space works well as a small classroom or spacious work studio. It is still fairly portable and easy to set up with two people.

The bungalow model offers a spacious but modest home or studio space. Using partitions or frame walls to separate the space can allow a small family private and shared areas. It usually requires a couple of days for two or three people to put up and less than a day to take down if needed.

The 24’ homestead offers similar benefits to the 20’ yurt, as it is a nice spacious yurt that would be ideal for a family to share, or be used as a nice retreat center. Several people can do yoga in the 24’ yurt, and several people could share an office. We built one in our home, and it makes a great spacious community kitchen. The 24’ leaves room for more spaces throughout the perimeter of the yurt and those spaces are roomier than the 20’ yurt.
